Course Overview

You work at a beautiful practice, provide top-quality care, and have a solid marketing plan…but you’re not making money! Why? Patients are not following through on the recommended course of treatment.

A study completed by the Journal of Oral Rehabilitation in the UK in 2021 expresses that over 60% of 154 people surveyed say they would want their dental providers to explain in detail before treatment the procedures and tools being-used. A study done in 2020 by Gallup Trust in Honesty and Ethics poll says that 6 out of 10 Americans trust their dentist.

Collected studies show that your office may be missing out on increased revenue due to lack of trust and clear explanation of treatment. Our 4-hour CE credit course teaches your dental staff how to engage with patients effectively to build relationships, skillfully present treatment options, and ultimately how to “close the deal”. During the class, students will participate in real-life scenarios and present /“sell” treatment plans to mock patients.

Objectives

This training is designed to enhance your staff’s effectiveness in securing and planning the delivery of oral healthcare services. Course attendees will learn to describe and explain treatment options with patients, define costs associated with different treatment plans, propose and plan a treatment schedule with the patient, and formulate payment plans with patient.
